该赛事是德州最具影响力的儿童环保艺术赛事之一，每年吸引来自全州数千名 K–6 年级学生参赛。参赛作品围绕德州海岸生态、海洋生物与环境保护主题展开，鼓励孩子用艺术表达对自然的热爱与责任感。比赛由专业评审团根据原创性、创意表现、主题契合度及艺术感染力进行综合评选，最终从众多参赛作品中评选出40位获奖者，并选出大奖得主。获奖作品不仅收录于官方 Adopt-A-Beach 年度公益日历，还将在全州范围内进行展示，充分展现孩子们的艺术才华与环保理念。
This Art Contest, organized by the Texas General Land Office, is one of Texas' most recognized environmental art competitions for young artists. Each year, thousands of Kindergarten through 6th grade students from across the state participate by creating artwork inspired by the Texas coast, marine life, and environmental stewardship. The contest encourages children to express their love for nature while developing a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting our coastal environment. Entries are evaluated by a panel of judges based on originality, creativity, artistic expression, and how effectively they reflect the annual theme. From thousands of submissions, only 40 winning artworks are selected, along with a Grand Prize winner. Award-winning pieces are featured in the official Adopt-A-Beach annual calendar and showcased throughout Texas, celebrating the creativity of young artists and their commitment to environmental awareness.
